On January 22, at 7pm Open Space gallery will be hosting a panel discussion moderated by Amy Peterson featuring Alec MacKaye (Untouchables, The Faith, Ignition, The Warmers), Matt Papich (Ecstatic Sunshine, WildfireWildfire), and Peter Quinn (Candy Machine, Ink, Lo Moda, Creative Capitalism) on the subject of “Punk.”
“Punk” is difficult to define and often misunderstood. The idea of punk is incredibly broad and has many facets that are often overlooked or unseen altogether. Over the course of a lively discussion we hope to clarify what punk has meant in various aspects of culture and what effect, if any, it continues to have.
There will be an open discussion period following the panel.
